A Brief Introduction to Key Conditions about Improving the Quality of Cement Grinding
Grinding cement will produce a lot of heat, which are detrimental to the quality of cement and the grinding efficiency and have a great impact on the yield. The water is atomized to spray into the mill through the high-pressure air, which affectively takes away the heat from the mill and makes the mill keep cool. Water is the surface active substance, which can easily make the coalescence with particles realize the disintegration to prevent the material on the grinding media. The water spraying is determined by the temperature in the mill, which will not spray water below 1000℃ in general.
In addition, the amount of the spraying water is determined by the temperature of the clinker in the mill, which may be about 1%-2% and makes the water injected in the mill evaporate completely without residual moisture. Both water spraying from the grinding head and from the grinding end are OK. When the temperature of the material in the mill is very high, it is favorable to spray water from the grinding head. Under normal circumstances, spraying water from the grinding end is common. Spraying water in the mill can increase the production by 5%-10%. The grinding system can control automatically. According to the noise of the mill, it would be the best to use the electric ear method to control the electromagnetic vibrating conveyors or belt conveyors, control the amount of the material in the mill and automatically adjust the material to keep it even. In this way, the amount of the material in the mill can keep the best state which can improve the output.
There is wind speed in the mill so that the powder produced in the grinding process can be taken away promptly by air, which reduces the cushioning effect of the micro powder, improves the grinding efficiency. Besides, there will be no impact on the quality of the products. The ventilation rate within the mill grinding is different because of different materials, which is usually 0.3-1.0 m/s. In a well-ventilated area, the steam in the mill can discharge in a timely manner so that the holes of the diaphragm plate will not ne blocked, the adhesion phenomena on the grinding media is reduced and make the temperature inside the mill can be reduced, which is favorable for the mill operation to improve the quality of the products. Low speed should bu used in producing high-strength grade cement. On the contrary, higher speed should be used.
