Common Classification of Artificial Sand Maker
The artificial sand maker mainly includes horizontal hammer sand maker, vertical shaft hammer sand maker, vertical shaft impact sand maker and roller sand maker.
The horizontal hammer sand maker
The horizontal hammer sand maker can be divided into split hammer head structure and monolithic hammer head structure. Hammer head adopts high strength wear resistant material; it has a long life and convenient replacement.
Vertical shaft hammer sand maker
Vertical shaft hammer sand maker is mainly used for second or third stage crushing; it can handle various coarse, medium and fine materials, such as granite, limestone, concrete, etc. whose side length within 500mm and compressive strength not more than 350MPa, widely used in hydroelectricity, highway, artificial aggregate and crushing industry.
Advantages: the device is without bottom screen, so there is no clogging. Additionally, hammerhead adopts monolithic structure, can be directly connected to the rotor.
Vertical shaft impact sand maker
In accordance with the structure of the rotor, vertical shaft impact sand maker can be divided into: open rotor structure and the closed-end rotor structure.
The rotor of the former type appears open structure; having fallen into the rotor, materials are crushed by hammer; and the rotor of the later type appears cage layout; materials are thrown at a high speed out after falling into the closed-end rotor.
Roller sand maker
Roller sand maker is usually used in sand making field of small production capacity; because of the relatively poor reliability, high failure rate and difficult repair and maintenance, it is avoid to being used to handle materials with a certain hardness and high abrasion.
